good Quimby Deluge 1.7 mi 00:13:50 08:08 pace

More doggie miles, this time in a straight-up downpour. Quimby likes the downhills a lot, but currently is no match for me on the uphills.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Scout. Working at a vet I know all too well how quickly splenic cancer can hit. Glad you have Quimby to spend some quality time with. Looks like he's got some solid running potential!

Have had several situations lately where a driver was looking to make a right turn on red and only looked to his/her left for oncoming traffic - forgetting about potential for pedestrians from the right. A particularly dangerous situation (and in one case, a guy was on his phone and never did look - fortunately I'd already gone around behind him).

As I mentioned, the TMNT advice is ironic given how the turtles walked in the original video game, which depending on how you look at it, was either great (elbows bent) or horrible (crossing in front of the body) depending on how you looked at it.
