The short version: 15 easy miles in the low 7:40s, last 5 miles in the low 6:40s.
The long version:
My legs were stiff starting out. I finally felt settled in around mile 7. I felt tired at mile 10. All 15 miles were run within a few seconds of each other. They were all in the 7:30 high to 7:40 low range. VERY consistent. With 5 to go, I dropped the hammer and finished the run at marathon pace: 6:41, 6:38, 6:38, 6:42, 6:42. Upon finishing I stood in the ocean for a while and the water was nice and cold. :)
Other notes: I dropped my Road ID in Solana Beach on the sand and a nice guy from NY picked it up and called Carrie's number. I need to drive to the lifeguard stand to pick it up now.
There were TONS of people out this morning running, walking, and cycling! I love how active this city is. Team in Training was out in full effect (Go Team!) and even had aid stations setup.
The waves were HUGE today as well! I have never seen so many surfers out! When I was running along South Carlsbad, I saw a (no exaggeration) 8-10' wave that lasted for at least a half a mile. Unbelievable!
As soon as I got home, Carrie was making me blueberry pancakes. Her and Mac ran 10 miles this morning!
After some hot tub time and a nap, it's time to get some stuff done.
Epic run today! Really happy with my progress here. 6:40 pace for a marathon is not looking out of reach at this point. :)

Wow! Super run. Thought I would comment here about your comment on my run so you would see it. Three miles in the church parking lot was a lot, I know. You do what you have to do in order to get the run done. If that meant running in the parking lot until it was light, so be it. I needed to be finished my run by 8:00 or so and that was the only way to do it--gym was closed and darkness and running do not go together for me! If I were faster, I wouldn't have to resort to such methods. :-(
