Super great feeling run this morning. It was a little odd to not be at the track but it has been a long time since I have done any tempo style runs. I have been feeling slow lately with all of my long slow distance and low heart rate running so this was perfectly timed!
1 mile warm up
4x 10:00 @6:45 pace with 2:00 jogs
Actual 10:00 paces - 6:36, 6:38, 6:42, 6:30
The third one has 2 large bridges to go up and over.
The most exciting thing about this run is the heart rate. During the intervals, my average was around 162-163. Super cool to see the fitness coming together. Faster legs with less work ... I'll take it!
