      How deep is the snow up there Mike?

      Ryan, the packed snow on the road is maybe 12". The powder is maybe 24"-30". Not very much, sadly.

      We are even worse but when we get a couple of inches it turns to solid ice and is dangerous as can be.

      Ouch. I remember that from the last time I ran there. Huge sheets on the hills that could really get you. Be safe out there. :]

    Chased the 2013 Marathon de Sables champion around in the desert for an afternoon. Ended pretty much like you would expect.

    Out and around in the snow. Way too warm and I overdressed so had to cut that one a bit short. Took the route over the natural gas pipeline, with many steep hills.

    It occurred to me on my way home that I could just stop at the store and buy a beer. So I did and I ran the last five miles with it while drinking in hand at full-speed. It was a great run.
