  1. RUN
    good Magnificent 7 7 mi 00:54 07:42 pace

Probably one of my best runs of late. I felt awesome. I had energy; I had endurance; I had speed. This run honestly felt so great, and it made me happy. I saw some glimmers of my old self.

  2. RUN
    good Tuesday 4 4 mi 00:34 08:30 pace

Not too bad. Starting to feel better.

  3. RUN
    good Fast 3 3 mi 00:23 07:40 pace

Goal today was to run a fast 3. Not too shabby an effort. I started running only a few minutes after waking up, and so the first mile was kind of groggy and slow. I don't have some fancy smanc... read more

  4. RUN
    good Saturday 8 8 mi 01:10 08:45 pace

This run went really well. Just kept it easy, and concentrated on trying to enjoy it. And yes, I know I have no imagination in the names I give to the run.

i have no imagination when it comes to naming runs either...but that's ok. it's the run, not the name that matters. you had a great run today.

  6. RUN
    good 7 Again 7 mi 01:00 08:34 pace

  7. RUN
    alright Sore 7 mi 01:02 08:51 pace

Struggle from beginning to end. Yes, it was 7 miles, which is more than my normal midweek distance, but there's more to it than that. I think my muscles are still really store from Saturday--s... read more

Still a good run. As you progress into more frequent longer runs, your body will recover faster. I waddled for 3 days after my first marathon, now it's a matter of hours.

  8. RUN
    alright Cold 4 4 mi 00:34 08:30 pace

Weather is really blah out today, rainy and cold. Run was all right.

  9. RUN
    Hills 3.5 mi 00:32 09:08 pace

5 hills, 600 yards each. Felt good, though I'm still a little stiff from Saturday's run

  10. RUN
good Saturday LOOOOONG Run 18.8 mi 03:10 10:06 pace

The plan was to run 14 today. Um. Yeah. We missed that mark. I definitely did not hydrate enough for a run this long--should have taken some water with me. Basically, we lost an idea of how long we... read more

  11. RUN

  13. RUN
good Cool and Grey 6 mi 00:49 08:09 pace

Beautiful day, in a grey sort of way (yeah, that rhymes). It was only about 40 degrees this morning, but it actually felt perfect for a run (Gunnison temps always feel warmer). Since I don't c... read more

  14. RUN
    good Fast 4 4 mi 00:31 07:40 pace

Tim was feeling awesome today, and he was going for it. I had 2 choices. I could fall behind and watch him burn the tar off the road, or I could man up and keep up. I chose the latter, but it'... read more

  18. RUN
good Noon Run 6.08 mi 00:54 08:52 pace

I enjoyed this run. Ran it slower than yesterday (which was the same distance). I had blood drawn this morning, so I was wondering if I would feel fatigued or faint. Ended up feeling pretty good.

    • Laura

Nice run considering the blood this morning. Take things easy!!

Great run, I usually feel fatigued on a run the day after I give blood.

  19. RUN
    alright Tough 6 6 mi 00:50 08:20 pace

Tim was feeling great today. Me, not so much. He ended up pushing a faster pace than I would have done all alone. And that's good. I have a theory about the crappy days being the most important.

  20. RUN
    good 5K 3.1 mi 00:27 08:42 pace

Legs were a bit worn from farties yesterday, but overall, not too shabby
