River Trail / Two Rivers 30.8 mi 02:20 13.2mph pace
Spent a lot of this ride working on tuning in my position in the bike. The shop set me up in a more relaxed position, but it seems that a more aggressive position works for me. After making some ad... read more

alright HP 8.4 mi 00:38 13.2mph pace
Was not feeling it today. Quads just did not want to loosen up. The hills didn't help either. Ended up meeting my wife as she got off work at her new job before coming back home.

Two Bridges 22.5 mi 01:40 13.5mph pace
Went great. Pushed myself a little more than I did yesterday. I had planned on doing 25-30 miles, but I made a stop to help some other cyclists with a flat. By the time I was finished, I had just e... read more

River Trail - Two Rivers 21.2 mi 01:42 12.4mph pace
Almost 21 miles non-stop today. I stopped just a couple times for photos. Pace was very slow for the first half due to rain, but once the sun started coming back out, I was able to pick up the pace... read more

Great ride this morning. Just finished one of my fastest times on this route, and I wasn't even at a time trial effort.

Thanks. I'm thinking about adding some weights and plyometrics to my workouts to gain more leg strength. I probably need to add a long ride on weekends too. I'm just happy I found a schedule that works for me.

I consider 10 miles long for me ;) Any schedule is better than none and glad you have one that works for you. Certainly makes it easier to get everything done.

Group Ride-Plummerville 23.3 mi 01:35 14.7mph pace
Tough ride today. I definitely need to get my leg strength and endurance back. Time to increase distance and intensity. I used to average 16mph on this route with a group, but with the lack of mile... read more

Two rivers trail 12.8 mi 01:00 12.8mph pace
Good ride today. Stayed on the flats, except for the two bridges. Starting to raise the intensity with a few intervals. Seriously can't wait for it to cool down so I can do longer rides.

It's awesome. I can now do a 40+ mile ride without ever having to use a major road or doubling back several times. There are a couple times where I'll have to share a road with traffic, but at least I won't have to use Hwy 10 to get to Pinnacle Mt.
