Chilly sounds so luxurious right now as the U.S. Midwest is getting roasted to a crisp. Great job on your workout, Bud! This has been one of the most interesting logs I've read so far today. Going to check out that mango+oj drink (thx for the link)!

Great job!

Thanks Pinglin. I was multitasking as usual. Studying the work I had set myself and running at the same time. I also made this a "post the letter" run, so it was a three in one job.

It's awesome. But how can you do other things when you are running?

Pinglin, I learn whatever I am studying at the time (parrot fashion), and then repeat / remember it while running, and, I keep the notes in my pocket (all too often I need to refer to them). It's part of genius studies where you engage left and right brain by moving both sides of your body (or physical exercise) and engaging the brain with a mental exercise. It's even more effective if done to music. But I'm just trying to keep it simple for now.

I heard classical music is supposed to increase the IQ. So I guess the idea is to put on the classical music on an ipod, then while running, make the brain quieten down the music, and start running the whatever study was done earlier. I guess the result is using more than the usual 5 percent of grey matter. For some odd reason my favorite classical music is "scary."
