Had a good race other than I was so far behind the pack that it took forever to get around people! I finally started running on the sidewalk to get ahead. Next time I'm in the front! I thought it was [perfect running weather! I've been having some shin issues so the hills were a welcome site, however, now I have ankle issues! Guess I'm forced to take some time off before Myrtle! I still enjoyed the run.

    You are just always so awesome Becky!!! Take care of your injuries so you will be ready for MB (which I realize I didn't need to even say that - you are always ready to run like the wind!!!). :-)

    Hey Becky... wish you would have made it to the front before the start. It does help a lot. Last year I was stuck in back and it was wall-to-wall people (slow ones at that) the whole way. Gene flew around me pretty good about the 11th or 12th mile though.

    I am right there with you!! I have had a time with my lower leg over the last month. So I'm gonna listen to my body & crosstrain a little more before I dive into MB!! You had a great time even with shin problems!!

    Richard! You are an awesome runner! Gene was amazed at your time since you have only been running a short time! You have him worried you'll be passing him soon! Are you doing Myrtle?
    Kim, yea, I was surprised at my time! With my injury I was figuring on a 2hour half. You are smart to listen to your body cause I didn't and now it's pool swimming till Myrtle! Which is kind of a challenge! I ran 30min today in the pool and hope to work up to an hour to 2 hours!
