    Ran pretty easy (little over 10min pace) for the first 4.5 with co-workers, then busted out a sub-7min last mile for fun.

      I've been really liking the BA2's, but I wanted to have another pair of shoes ready when they start getting long in the tooth (I estimate they're about 33% done).

      good point. what about the saucony virrata? i've also found the skora form to be a great substitute for the bare access 2, and you can usually get them heavily discounted at Theclymb.com. just need to keep an eye out!

      The Form would have to be HEAVILY discounted for me to think about buying them. I am not a fan of the Virrata after my foot stopped fitting the Mirage 2. I also am seriously concerned about the shoe's durability after my Mirages barely made it past 200mi.

    Got to run with a fellow who works at the building across the street. Nice to run a little slower...sometimes it seems the only way to do it is to run with someone who is better at pacing than I am.

    I was expecting to run at the track to lighten up the load on my knee, but they were working on it, so i had to turn around and head home.

      Nice effort, Bryan. Some days are like that, but I find that even after a kind of sucky run, I still feel better than if I hadn't run at all.

    Pouring rain at times. BA2's are awesome. Never at any point did I feel like I didn't have enough cushioning!

      My feet feel okay until 10mi in the BA2's. I pushed it using them for the half today, but the alternative was much worse!

      Yeah...I doubt I'll ever get to 10mi in them, but honestly, I don't have any reason to run that far!

    Pushed the little guy for an evening run.

    Still not sure about the Altras. VERY comfy to wear around, but they leave something to be desired for actual running.
