Snuck in a recovery ride of sorts this morning on my dawn patrol ride. Glorious ride watching the sunrise! Time to spend the day with the family now.

Looks like a good plan to me. I just rode a ton last year before STP. I would ride into work and back 100mile round trip 2 or 3 times a week. I think those miles helped. The big thing is you have to be 100% comfortable on the bike, its a long day. I would also stop in at quicky marts for food and drink when you need them the stops took way to long to get in and out of.
