Late afternoon climbing session amongst the waterfalls. Climbed 1400 before I started losing daylight. Single track was wet so I opted to stay on the gravel. Beautiful fall colors abound!

Hate to say it but sometimes there is nothing that works on the indoor bike. This year, I am going to try my new meditation skills to just stay in the moment and not let my mind worry me about time. Who knows it it will work?

That's a damn good pace considering what you had against you. A real decent amount of miles as well. The huge E is for the Effort Brian! Kudos to where most would have stayed home.

A good rain jacket is worth it. Gore makes a great one with windstopper technology. I see it on Amazon for around $100/$125.

Love my Showers Pass rain jacket and pants. Kept me completely dry yesterday during my commute. My only complaint is I've had to order a size up on some of their products. Keep riding!
