Sometimes you just have to keep running till it feels good. I've had insomnia a bit the last couple nights and today I ate a whole bunch of powdered donuts (the kind in a bag). That's obviously not great fuel for running and I felt sluggish for the first 5-6 miles. After that I must have burned through some of the crap, because my legs felt lighter and my speed picked up a bit and it was a bit more fun. Didn't help I was listening to some new music, which as it turns out kinda sucked, but by the end it all came together. Coolest part was the end running with the sun on my back projecting a 80 foot shadow ahead of myself on the street, felt like I was looking at a cirque show.
