Brick intervals (sort-of). Pouring and blowing, and although I would have taken one or the other, not both, so I ran intervals on the mill. Supposed to be 10x1' maxing out, on 90" recovery, but the treadmill only went up to 12 mph, which isn't fast enough for 1' intervals for me, even at a 3 incline. I could have made it steeper, but then I'm doing hills, and today was supposed to be flats. Anyway, I ran 2' intervals instead, and even then, it wasn't fast enough... I don't really trust the speed on these things.

Wow what a day!

Blistering pace as usual, however if I was out in this crappy weather for 2+ hours, I expect you to do the same.

@Olu - listen buddy, I ran 37 miles on trails in 3 feet of snow last January 2 weekends in a row, so I earned my TM time. Plus, I hate doing speed into the wind. That said, it was extra brutal this morning, so you get the kudos for not bailing on your long run. It won't be as cold at Hyannis, and unless it's actively snowing, you won't have to worry about it - it's a fast race, even with the wind.

Yeah, I'm just playing with you. I may be old, but I'm only in my 4th year of running. We newbies need this experience under the belt. Better in training then raceday.
