    A good workout. 10 minutes warm up, 4X2 minutes hard running with 1 minute recovery jog, then 10 minutes cool down. Felt good.

    Got soaked running through a misting rain. Hard to run.

    Pretty good easy pace, which really sped up on the way back (wind behind me and a bit downhill), including a 5th mile at 7:59.

    Felt good today, kept nice easy pace. First mile was slowest at 8:54, the fifth was fastest at 8:23.

    Pushed it a bit at the end, but ended up with a pace of exactly 8:30, which was the goal for today - hoody hoo! Will try 6 miles tmr.

    First speed work in way too long. Did 1 mile warm-up, 4 X 1 minute hard pace with 1 minute recovery, then 1 mile cool-down. Last mile was slower than expected, but felt okay.
