not sure where the 'get up and go' come from this morning...but i just put in my fastest five miles ever...usually run between 10:50 and 11:00 minute miles...but this morning i blew off the walk breaks after the first mile...and just ran...in my vff's...the next four. felt awesome. i am loving the vff's more and more everytime i put them on.

Michael, I'm reading the book, Born to Run and they talk about vffs. Do you think they have improved your run so that now you go faster?

@jackie all i can say is that my fastest runs ever have been in the vff's...i feel lighter in them and that i'm not working as hard as when i'm in running shoes!

That is amazing! Do you think you'll be able to run a marathon in them? Have you read the book, Born to Run? The book really cuts down expensive running shoes. I'm monitoring everyone who has the vff's. Who knows maybe I'll break down and get a pair sometime.

@jackie i did read the book. i had been toying with going barefoot for months previously...the book pushed me over the edge. love the vff's!! hoping to do a marathon in them next year...after i wrap the 12 in 12 without injury. i say...go for it....

@Jackie I also have VFFs and I love them for the same reason Michael does. They are really light and force you to use your body more efficiently. I still use running shoes when I'm cold (don't have the vff socks yet...) but feel that my form has improved as a result of the VFF runs.
