Has anyone ever tried a Bosu Ball? I want to work on speed & strength training for Chicago, and my left ankle is weak (causing my pronation) and I've heard they help
-
I have done some training on he Bosu, but I don't know it would be good for a weak ankle? You would have to be careful. Have you done band work with your ankle/foot?

I've been doing some easy balance stuff, which seems to be helping a lot, so I was curious about bosu trainer. I don't know anything about bands

http://health.yahoo.com/other-other/strengthening-exercises-for-ankle-sprains/healthwise--zm2801.html shows a good one - you can take it to the next level by doing the same thing in the other three directions. Good luck!

Those are really cute. Darn it - now you have me drooling over them too. So they really stay on your head good, huh? I have problems finding ones that stay on my head - it would be great for soccer.

I just found out that they're going to be at the expo this week. My poor bank account. It never budged. I was very impressed

Good luck with the taper! You running the marathon or half marathon? One of these years I'm going to plan on doing this GA marathon. Glad GA finally has a big name marathon other than the Atlanta Track Club one on Thanksgiving Day. Have a great race!

Just doing the half. I really wish I was doing the full now, but I have to work in the afternoon :(. I might do the full again next year...

I've gotten sucked into reading "Born to Run" and am finally almost done (you don't want to know how long it's taken). And just because I am curious and the pedals on the stationary bike are flat I decided to ride just in socks, no shoes. I u... read more

Be careful with your feet. It took the Raramuri (Tarahumara) years to strengthen their feet. I tried running barefoot and with minimal shoes and my got PF worse and I ended up with a stress fracture.
