This morning’s ride was appropriately named “Jeff’s Last Ride.”
Allow me to explain!
Jeff, one of our club’s mainstay members, will be having a quadruple bypass tomorrow morning. To wish him well, etc., many of us rode 30 miles this morning in support of his upcoming surgery. Jeff and his wife led this morning’s group on their recumbent tandem bicycle.
Jeff is looking forward to getting the procedure over with and then getting on with rehab – and then ultimately jumping back on his bike for years and years of healthy cycling.
85 degrees, sunny, wind calm! Nice day for a support ride!

Here's to Jeff's speedy recovery and his return to the saddle!
Great ride Robert!

Great that you were there to support Jeff in his last ride for the "season". I have to say that I hope that the ride is improperly named. If I were Jeff I would have voted to name the ride sometime else. Glad you enjoyed the ride and the nice weather, however it did get a little on the hot and sweaty side before we finished our ride today.
