What a beautiful morning! I really wanted to take my camera so I could share the beautiful view from the high point of this run, but alas, it was just a little too much for my hydration pack (along with my phone, gels, pepper spray, and tissue). Very hilly route with a lot of headwind this morning, but it felt great to be out and getting in some good miles at the break of day. I have some mild, yet different pain in my right knee, which I'm hoping disappears, never to be found again.

Sounds like a good workout! I'm always very envious of you and Kristin getting to run first thing in the morning. I love that sense of accomplishment you get to wear all day ;0) great job!

Great run, Nicole! Maybe we can invent the hydration pack or water bottle with a built in camera? I often wished I had a camera on a run as well. We'll get some 6 year old right on it.

@Emily: I did have to get up at 5:20 which meant going to be at 9:00, so it's a sacrifice on the other end.@Glenn: great idea. One of these days, I'll just have to drive over there and get the pic, but it won't be the same since it's not early. I'm just not brave enough to leave my phone home on a long run, or I'd room for the camera. @Ruth: Yeah, I hope I never need to use the pepper spray, but I guess you have to be careful. I run out in the boonies all by myself.

I hope so too, Nicole! Marathon training takes a toll on the body in ways other training doesn't...but ;et's not borrow trouble. You have had enough of that recently to last ya quite a while.
