    Last long-ish run before 15k this weekend. Bring on the Boilermaker and Heart Break Hill!!

    Considering that I haven't run in 5 days I felt pretty good. Started with a big hill, ran 2 hills in the middle and finished with the lartgest hill on the marathon route. Not too shabby!

    Local 5k race - combination of road, dirt, woods, and rolling hills. Beautiful course! First mile pace 6:42!!!! Finished in 2nd for women, 1st in my age group. Not bad.

    Spin - went to go run, foot in lots of pain. decided it wasn't worth it 2 weeks before the big race. hit the gym and did a good hour on the spinning bike.

    finally, a break in the weather. warm and overcast made for a great run. conquered 2 large hills during this run without problem. knee gave me a little problem at end, but nothing major.
