      I wish we could get some of that! Fall never arrived here in TN. BTW, since I don't have a marathon on the books for 2018, I have set my sights on fulfilling the 1000 mile pledge! By my calculations, I have to average just under 21 miles a week the rest of the way. It's hard to do working on the road every weekend. Plus my schedule gets really crazy in a few weeks. We'll see. The mileage on the challenge page is short about 20 miles for some reason, so I'm going by what my profile page says.

      Sometimes the challenge mileage lags behind a little - don’t know why. Some times I just add up my monthly totals to be sure. It’s tough to get to 1000 miles, travel and all day commitments like faires can make it especially tough if you plug away in small increments like me. Fortunately, you are used to mixing in some long runs, so you ought to be able to get it done!
