  1. RUN
    good 09/18-Taper run 6 mi

Did a test run in my TNT tri top. I don't like it.

    1) Either it's too short or the my running shorts are too low, but I keep having to pull down the top because my belly was exposed.

Can you talk to your coordinator about going up a size? They just resized the run shirts so they're long enough now. Glad the new shoes are working out!

If you DO decide to wear the tri-top, the hint I heard was to put on sunscreen JUST IN CASE it rides up. A sunburn around the mid-riff is pretty annoying! (I try to learn the lessons of others as well as my own lessons)

Have you switched brands? I've noticed my Brooks are smaller than my Sauconys.

Nope, same brand. I think they "upgraded" their model. Or, it could be my feet are growing, haha.

    great 09/13-Columns Drive 20 mi 01:07 17.9mph pace

How on earth can people ride more than 20-30 miles out on Columns Drive is beyond me. Going around and around on a 5-mile loop is mentally painful; especially if you do it alone. Luckily, I have my... read more

There's a local badass runner named Malcolm that lives in East Cobb. There's been plenty of times when I've been running on Columns that I hear his quick turnover steps coming up behind me. I always think to myself, "That's gotta be Malcolm." Sure enough, in a flash he's flying by me and soon I don't see him or hear his footsteps anymore.

I have ridden columns all of once. BUT what I waant to comment on is your speed. Who knew, last year when you started, that you were a speed demon just needing to build? Great job

I needed my picture, so they told me to go out 5 minutes and come back. . . legs couldn't run yet so it was mostly a walk! Oh, and don't feel guilted into it, it IS on the schedule! :D

wow, you girls in the "no guys" group are fast! Great job on pushing through the second half of the course. Remember that on race day. One of the hints was to "hang back" for the first 30 miles, and then push more the last 26, which saves your legs for the run.
