4 miles on the treadmill ... felt all right but not great.. 15 minutes on the bike after that. The real test will be how it feels tomorrow.

I would say there's been very moderate improvement. Keeping the pace very slow and stopping when the pain picks up is what I've been doing. I've been able to go a little farther before being bothered by it. It's especially noticeable going uphill. I have a feeling it will linger for a while. Thanks for checking in, hope all is well!

Brian...when I was nursing my ITB injury, my doc told me to run only 2 mile distances at 1 minute slower than my usual pace until it felt like it could go more. I did that for 3 runs and then was OK to go from there. For whatever that's worth...it seemed to work for me.

That's a good tip. It usually flares up about 3/4 of a mile into a run. I'll give it a shot, thanks!

Quality mileage right there. I'm always impressed as to what other runners are capable of. Just goes to show that if they can do it, I most certainly can/will over time. Congrats.

Nice run, Brian. I worry about hunters around here, too. Hunting season started a week ago and I know some of those guys are just waiting to hear a sound to shoot at.
