Slow VFF Recovery

Slow recovery run. Wore the VFFs as usual for these runs. Was getting into a surprisingly comfortable forefoot strike pattern when I started noticing a twinge in the left ankle. Reverted to a more midfoot strike but there's still something going on there. Hopefully nothing bad.
Anyway, Hal is giving me two full days off before my next long run. Well appreciated.

I always tell myself, there's only so much damage I can do to myself in 30min. right? Surely it's nothing. :) Enjoy your rest days Keith, I know you'll nail that long one!

I don't know. I've done some decent damage in under a second once or twice in my life. :) But everything feels fine today, so I think I'm OK.

Glad the ankle is OK, Keith! It's always a little scary to feel those twinges. I get a few of them, and I'm always a little concerned, but seems like they are all gone in a day or so!
