1 mile warm up, 3.75 miles at 8:25, 1 mile cool down.
2 weeks ago I did 35 minutes at around 7:57, but that was too fast - faster than my 5K PR pace, and I had to take a break in the middle. Also, been feeling pretty tired this week, so held it to 8:25, which seemed just about at my AT.
I couldn't help thinking that 1 year ago I could only have managed a fraction of my warm up mile before needing a walk break, and could have held today's tempo pace for maybe 30 seconds tops.

Good work, Keith, sounds like you are learning what works best for you without overdoing it. I think that's one of the real challenges with running, finding that balance in all the different types of runs.
