    wow...congrats on your 14 miles yesterday. I ran 13.1 yesterday and feel good except for calves... Now why do you stand all day at your desk?

    I stand at my desk whenever I can. I started that 11 months ago, and it helped me restart my running and drop 35 pounds. I dropped a lot of that weight from standing, which burns about 150 cal/hr. Standing also helps me stay focused as I work, and it freaks out anyone who visits my office. :)

    Standing at my desk works very well. A good day of standing is a substitute for a slow 5 mile run in my world.
