"My runs for you will still be long, after the iPods of summer have gone." Well, it's that time of year when my Shuffles die from getting sweated on...R.I.P. Shuffle #12-ish. Tomorrow going to get a cheap-shit, non-Apple MP3 player, and I bet it lasts way longer.
They are programmed to self-destruct within 2 years, sweat or no sweat. Nice run today!

I have a non-Apple MP3 player that I love. Gave up on iPods after mine shit the bed after too short a time. Sansa is the one I have.

Luckily mine always die in about 3-4 months so I just take em back under warranty, have Apple give me a new one, and break that one in about 3-4 months.

I got the Best Buy insurance last year and went through about 5 or 6 during the summer....thank goodness with insurance I got them for free. But my year is up so no replacements this time.

THEY MAKE WATERPROOF SHUFFLES! :) I've read about them in other forums and people say they work wonders. They're meant for swimmers so the gallons of sweat during runs are nbd :) something to consider!
