I guess I am a selfish runner, but than again I'm single and do everything by myself. That said, I loved your blog. the time you are spending with those 2 cute little boys is more precious than runner a fast 5k or 50K.

Today was a great day to train for next week's frozen half. I seriously thought I was going to get frostbite on my left eye, but I think the ice on my eyelashes kept the wind at bay!

Yep, I had a run the other day during which I lost the ability to blink properly with my left eye. It was during a mile-and-a-half-long stretch of trail along a levee with nothing to block the wind. Fine going out, evil coming back. A windy night. Balaclava was inadequate to the task. Nice run.
