When I got home from work today it was sunny and clear. The temperature was cool but far from being cold. My right calf was feeling a lot better so I decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get in a run. This was my second run in my Bedrock Sandals.

Quinn went with me though he started having some pinched nerve types of pain in his foot early on. I convinced him to try running in his socks for a bit and it almost immediately cleared up his foot pain. At one point I got him to run bare foot for a block with me but he stepped on a couple rocks and that put an end to that. Perhaps next time I can get him to try again.

I used the IT band strap again and had no pain at all. Another week like this and I'll try not using the strap to see how it goes. When we were moving the pace was decent and I was feeling strong. So much so that I added a few more hills and another block to the loop. Might have to sign up for another race. ;)
