I'd like to run an Ultra. I want to test my limits and push past them. There are a lot of hurdles between here and there though. One step at a time.

Perhaps find her HR MAX, MIN/UPPER and let her see just how hard (or not so hard) she is actually working? I'm doing that with a class right now, and they are quite dismayed as to what they thought was "work" or "exercise" only to find out...yeah, not so much aerobic as they thought. Amazing how you are keeping it up with her. Thumbs up!

Ha. You just wait. In a few years, she'll be saying "I can't wait to get out for another daughter daddy run. I actually had to turn him down today because I knew he wasn't up for a 40 mile training run. Not yet anyway."

Great mid-week 10K! Goodness, the vicinity of the treadmill is probably a radio frequency chaotic hell. Mobile phone signals, wireless signals, cordless signals, slews of IR signals for everything from lights to doors to safety detectors, blue tooth all over the place, then add in the basic background noise of television, radio, and then satellite transmissions to and fro - it is a wonder we all don't just cook in this giant microwave we've managed to turn our planet into.....

No kidding. lol Granted my TM is at home and not a public gym but I have no shortage of every radio wave you mentioned in my house too. In particular my TM comes with a HRM of it's own and while I don't think it uses ANT+, that's really comparable technology really close to where I'm running.
