Nice workout! And yeah, it can be tough; I have a good amount of leg muscle, but trying to do the ZR 5k every other day for me was not working with my knees and ankles; after I cut back for a short bit, it evened out, though. Such a great app, I love it!

I've been loving this great weather, too. I am not allowed to be in barefeet at work but I wear a pair of shoes whose bottoms are so worn there are holes so I can feel the ground. Good job!

You're right Staci. You MUST build slowly. But the same is true for shod running or any other exercise. When you start something new you need to work into it slowly or the chances are really good that you will hurt yourself. The problem is many people think barefoot running is just shod running without shoes though. It's not.

Nice to meet you too Island. :) It's funny, whenever I notice a picture of one of us out there barefoot and a big old grin on our faces I get all excited and shout "Oh! My peeps! Woot!" Grats on your 50k btw. That's definitely on my bucket list.

Thanks. Ya the ankle has no issue bearing weight under normal conditions. I'm just being careful to stay away from activities that make it act up. Hard to explain the nature of the injury but then that's about par for the course for me huh? lol
