Out on a 6 miler. Just stopping to take in beautiful Salthill and the Clare coastline here in Galway. Said "and em a bit" but when your surrounded by such beauty and pumped up for a run I do tend to talk alot of crap!

Ran this morning to my swimming lesson. Uncomfortably warm here in Galway today for running (24Deg) so it was a challenge and I was happy I hydrated earlier in the morning. Enjoyed this run alot.

Wrecked, completely wrecked! Spent alot of the past 5 days infront of the computer getting important work done so was utterly frustrated not getting out for a run. Decided to head out on a moderate tempo run and struggled thru about 4 miles (prob comes... read more

you ran 8 miles after not running for 5 days; any way you slice and dice it, you came out ahead for getting the miles in. good job.

Jeez you're fast! And that time was a 'bad' run! Well it's all relative I guess, that's what I like about running. Hope you get a good one in this weekend :-)

Fantastic sunny weather with a hint of a cool breeze. Salthill is beautiful in the sun, lots of people relaxing, walking, running and biking by the water. I was a little dehydrated on this run and I really felt it at the end. The weather was warmer tha... read more

That'll keep you going Brian. Good incentive to go out and run long before the sell by date expires!

Free shipping (forgets to say that's by the crate load LOL). I have two of those satchets from the Dublin Marathon...2008!

Thanks for the tips George. I can impulse buy anything lol, I'm particularly bad on amazon with books actually! Yeah, I dont mind the taste of the Orange High5's. I picked up two sachets a few weeks ago in my local health-food store and tested them out. There just so expensive here, I cant understand the mark-up?Your right about the concentration being a little much for my stomach, I have a camelbak I'm going to start taking on longer runs so that should be hydration sorted.
