Chris S. - I don't really have a "next big race plan" which is very unusual for me. I am off to hike West Coast Trail tomorrow and then in October going Trekking in Nepal so I won't be getting much running time in. Might look at Trans Rockies in Colorado next August, not sure what I will do in between. How about you, what are you training for?

I did most of my training on the single track trails here in Nanaimo. Behind Westwood Lake and the Abyss. I added a number of road marathons (Victoria, Boston, Vancouver) for distance and did some running in extreme heat and humidity in Atlanta. Also Kusam Klimb in Sayward. The single track trail is the key. A good training trail (when the snow melts) is Paradise Meadows to Kwai Lake Loop at Strathcona Park.
