      I spent last week not running much with other people and I realized just how badly I missed it. In fact it made me crabby all week. What a privilege for you to be able to spend the time with your SIL like that!

      Actually I prefer to train alone unless it's my daughter, Jessy...she & I are perfect training buddies. We both know when to talk, when to be quite, when to push or not...I tend to alter my course, too...and there aren't too many folks out there who go at the slower pace I move at or do intervals. But on recovery outings, I love the company!!!!!!

      Going back to Aiken today...will be getting in a flat 10 miler somewhere...I would prefer it NOT be the week before the Half, but I have to go with what my life permits. It's a mental thing for me to get those 10 miles in...so...I will head out & come in when the miles are done.

      Thanks so much...the surgery was a success - surgeon able to put 3 screws in his hip instead of a partial replacement & he did not see any cancer in the area. My dad starts PT tomorrow...then we'll see when he is discharged & where he goes from there. I felt all your thoughts, prayers, & hugs!!!!! Love you guys!

      Great idea combining the mill and the hood, Bess. By the way it appears they are putting in sidewalk at least on our end of the road. Stacey and I ran the first half of the Alien course today!
