This sucked. Popped UCAN 30 minutes before heading out the door but forgot my usual banana I eat with it. Probably why i felt a little empty!
Rained for the first few miles, then I got to enjoy the wet, mid-90% humidity for a while before getting to enjoy a little more rain on and off.
Went from my apartment to the east river, around battery park, up the west side to 59th where I crossed to Central park. Did the loop clockwise till I hit the 65th Street exit and took that out of the park. Then took the streets home. Garmin said 20.0, Nike+ said 20.7 and gmap-pedometer said 20.3, which is what I marked it.
Knee and hip were cranky for most of the run, but worse was my left foot which cramped due to a gait change from running with wet socks/shoes. Felt DEAD after, though nothing some stretching, icing and nutrition didn't take care of.
Why do we do this to ourselves again!? =)
