North Fork Sprint Tri 9 mi

Was going to run the 8k on Sunday but Jon's ITB is still underwater. I opted to run as part of his team so he could participate in the swim / bike for his continued preparation towards the ironman in August.

Our overall time was 51 minutes. Because we switched to a relay team, we were bumped to the back of the swim which slowed down Jon.

He made up a huge amount of time on the bike and I was able to squeeze in 20 minutes for the run. (5:35ish) There was a leg that was on the beach so the course wasn't fast but it was pretty flat and not too hot. With the 20 minute run we ended up:

-1st relay team
-won the bike and the run flat out
-and second overall

We almost caught the top guy who blazed the swim. An overall success and more good effort for falmouth 7 miler in August.

Can't wait for cooler weather..
