  14. tried to run this morning and the nagging pain just above my knee cap wouldn't let me. any thoughts on how to handle patellar tendinitis, friends?

    • Aj
      Aj

Rebekah - I struggled big time with Tendinitis earlier this year. I saw an orthopedist and he assured me that my knee was structurally sound after a brief exam and an x-ray. He had me take 3 Advil 3 times a day (9 every 24 hours) for two weeks. In addition, I do lots of stretching after my runs and on off days. After the two weeks I gradually weened off of the Advil and I've been pain free for 2.5 months! My pain was just below my knee cap, but in the middle, not the IT Band.
