    Don't you just love spin class! My "new" instructor - Linda, is considerable different from my favs - Biray, Holly, Lyndsi, Debbie, or these hippie guy in Tucson.

    But she did help me get my heart rate up to 162 this am . . . so different approaches can lead to the same end.

    I've taken Linda's step classes and strength conditioning classes and she pretty much rocks those... but I've never taken her spin. Glad to hear that there's someone else out there challengin' ya!
    The spin classes out here are a bit different. They have what's called "freestyle" which basically means the instructor calls out different commands every 30secs to 1.5 mins. I'm not a fan of that approach since it feels a bit random for me, but I do my best to get what I need out of each workout. :)
