A run down and back on the walking trail in Mt. Airy, NC. I was almost exactly two miles from the end when I saw my prey. A runner in all black and a second in hot pink. Both were all bundled up and trudging along. I could tell from a little over a quarter mile back that they were easy pickings, so I dropped the hammer on them.
It took me about a mile to catch them and pass them. Let's just say that I'm pretty sure they couldn't beat me in a race or in a cheeseburger eat-off either.
Last two miles were 8:04 and 7:58.
