Sometimes it's the best thing to go into a race without the burden of a firm goal. Sounds like this went very well-- except for the clip.

Wow, great time even with the rotten fall! Silly ass, trying to pass like that when there's plenty of room to keep clear. Hope you recover well. Congratulations on an otherwise wonderful race!

Ouch! Not a great way to finish a great race. Maybe those 5 lbs means you are a stronger runner now. :)

great Change of plan 5.06 km 00:35 11:06 pace

Nice! The sun came out after I'd gone inside. Too bad you couldn't do your run to the point, and too bad about the triggers... at least you got your run and enjoyed the nice day!

Robin, yes good ones. There is a hedge about 1k from our home and Val would always pick up the pace and kick it in. I would struggle to stay with her. I did kickup the pace there today.

Too bad, bug! It sounds like a cold. I had something recently that made me feel like that every day for a couple of weeks... I never really got outright sick, just crappy for weeks. I sure hope you don't have that. Heal up today!
