RUN
good 3 mi 00:38 12:39 pace
Ran with my daughter in the jogging stroller, which always adds time, but considering I hadn't run in almost two weeks, it was definitely a VERY slow pace, and it certainly hasn't left me feeling v... read more

great 25 mi 01:49 13.8mph pace
Longest ride to date! We were loaning against really strong wind the entire first half so our time wasn't great until the turn around-then we were FLYING! It felt amazing!

Loaning?? Silly predictive txt! Lol. Should say "working against"

ohmygoodness was it COLD this morning! Pretty windy, too, so we didn't make great time. Fun ride though and burned close to 500 cals, so I'm a happy girl:)

I know the exact feeling. I usually go for the run. If I'm just being lazy, I'll feel much better after then run. And if I really need the rest then I know for sure and I'll take a nap.

Good advice! I went ahead and did a run, and I am glad that I did...it was hot, so I'm drained from that, but I don't feel as sluggish as I did, so I'm glad I fought mentally and went for it!

Beatmybody
I know exactly what you mean! I'm always afraid that if I don't take advantage of those really good "i could run forever" feelings then next time I won't have one.

I dunno why but there's something that seems really cool to me about being able to say I ran for an hour straight. Maybe it's bc I remember when I couldn't even run 5 minutes! I realized tonite I was just five min from that-kind of mad I didn't keep going now!
