Today, the treadmill was my friend. It was my first run on the mill this "season." It's just been too dark in the mornings for me to feel comfortable on my run. I felt like the impact on the treadmill was a lot softer and better for my hip. I was able to push myself faster on the 'mill then I think I ever would have been able to on the streets. Carrie assigned me 4x1 @ 8:40 w/ 2min recovery in between. I tried to track splits on my iphone stopwatch--not perfect but something at least. I came pretty close to 8:40 for my miles!! I couldn't believe I actually got all 4 done. I didn't have enough time for a full mile cool-down, but rushing around the house and taking kids to school counts as a cool-down, right?

    I am impressed that you feel faster on the treadmill and that you got all those done! The treadmill always makes me feel slower. Maybe it is just my treadmill?
