This run felt great until the end. I think the temp was the coolest of all my long runs so far this training cycle and I could tell it made a difference. I kept watching my pace to make sure I wasn't going too fast. Around mile 6 though my hip started to hurt more and more and although I could have pushed through to the 9 miles I was supposed to run, I figured it was probably smarter to stop. I think I'll be scheduling with the sports massage therapist this week. I'm starting to worry a bit about the actual race in November.

    Sounds like a great run! Definitely get into the therapist...you've still got a few weeks before you really need to worry.
