#barefootrunning My first 15k race ever!! I had planned for 6:30min/k and i did just that, so Im very happy with my performance :) I also have a new PR for 10k!! 59min16s, my first sub1hr 10k. My official time for the full 15k was 1:37:36.
It was a fun race! I got tons of very positive comments and motivations from fellow runners.

Hi I saw you on the 15km today at about the 4km mark. Congrats on completing it barefoot. I'm thinking of trying barefoot running myself, but right now I find 2km barefoot is hard, and also I can't run as fast.

Richard, thx! adding barefoot kms to your training has to be a very slow & gradual process that cannot be rushed because you risk injury. stick with what feels good and add max 10% a week. and next time say hi!!
