I wanted to prove something to myself and just run. I needed to cross the line from "I could run tonight" to "I DID run tonight". I went to Pilates and felt like such crap: sick, sore, headache, dizzy. The weekend miles took a toll on me and I couldn't do what I wanted to, I was falling behind. I just wanted to be good at something! So I started out the week with some miles.

wow. I am AMAZED you went out and ran more than 4 miles after pilates. It's official. you rock my world.

4 miles at that pace is smoking for not wanting to get out there to do anything at all...but maybe your body needs some rest, Anne :)

You are a runner Anne. It is what you do.
Every once in a while someone asks me if I run and I just tell them "Yes, I am a runner" I feel very proud at that moment. Not in a superior kind of way but it just feels good to know that I really am a runner now. I know you know what I mean ;) I don't have to explain it to DM'ers
