      Hey, totally missed this. It turns out I am completely incapable of running without some external motivation or company - hence health month (looking forward to doing that with you too!) but even better would be going to a 5k together.. what do you think?

    Fitbit says I got in 8 miles yesterday - only about 3 of that was intentional as a "walk". It was so beautiful out last night though, I was glad for the extra motivation to get out there!

      this is why i think things like fitbits/ pedometers are so cool/ motivating. it's a nice way to remember to "credit" yourself for the things you are actually doing (and the literal distances you are going!) that otherwise we tend to dismiss.

      Oh, Avery thanks so much for getting back on this! I definitely would not have gone running today if you and I hadn't talked! I didn't have time til the afternoon, and since it's hot out often I end up thinking it will be too hot to go, but since you and I had just talked about getting motivated, I went out and found some damn shade to run under. thanks!!
