So I've run maybe once or twice since April. Hot summer, busy schedule and running disappointment contributed to my lackluster desire to run or train for anything. I'm giving the big M in... read more

good Holy Humid Run, Batgirl! 5.02 mi 01:05 13:01 pace
Geez 'o Petes, this run left me drenched because of the humidity. It also did not help encourage my love of hills (insert snarky tone). The highlight was running the first half mile with my ti... read more

Kim - I'm happy to be back on. I was training for my second marathon attempt in March and fractured my left leg (high fracture). Had to boot it for 8 weeks and then my daughter's soccer schedule took over. Maybe #3 is the charm although I'm thinking I'm jinxed!

Wimpy Limpy Run 3.8 mi 00:42 10:59 pace
Darn left leg. I'm not sure if it's my shin anymore. Perhaps a trip to the doctor is in order.

A trip to the doctor is a good idea there, Andrea! Good job on getting in 3.8 miles! Hope your leg heals soon!! : )

Nice Job:
Still a good run. Thanks for the mention Andrea. I am kind of bummed for having to miss Monument Ave 10K this year after running for 4 years in a row but I am running Knoxville Marathon on that weekend. Am I safe to assume you'll be doing it again?

That is a bummer that you'll miss it but a marathon is a big deal! A friend I'd mine just won the RnR Nashville marathon. I can't believe I know someone who actually won a marathon!
Is Chris running it with you? Sounds like you both have an adventuresome calendar ahead of you!!!
