Many people swear by them who made the switch. Last months USA Triathlon Magazine published a research article showing little difference in injuries and overall satisfaction between barefoot style vs traditional so it is a matter of preference.

It depends on your feet and what you feel like taking the time to get accustomed to. I have super-flat feet and they're really narrow, and most of what I've read lends itself to saying that unless I have "average" arches and such I shouldn't try to Five Fingers. but my orthopaedic foot guy says they'd be great for me. I dunno. I am not sure I want to try them!
