great South Platte Trail from Carson Nature Center 5 mi 01:01 12:11 pace

Did a nice 5 miler out and back on the South Platte. Gray and windy and about 53 but ultimately perfect conditions for a run. I can tell my pace is getting faster -- when I do a shorter distance that is. Never thought 5 miles would one day be a "quickie", easy run, shorter distance. Well, I think I'm ready for next week's half marathon. My goal is to feel goal, run the whole thing and clock in under 3 hours.
