Hmmm....I felt really really good throughout the entire workout until the end. I'm annoyed. Brief rundown.

5k warmup around TL. (Ended up being like 3.62 because we followed the wrong people and went the wrong way...shrug)

2 sets of 5x 0:30 on/1:00 off around Zilker fields through the grass. 5 minutes of jogging in between sets. pace = 8:00 fast/9:00 slow

1k @ 95% effort. >.< This is essentially how I felt about that ... lfdjklsfjlksjdfklsjdlfjdsk.

1k @ 4:12 = 6:45 mile

I'm REALLY annoyed at myself. I don't know what it was but I just absolutely choked. I can't knock my time after running ~6 miles and in the humidity AND playing with speed work, but everyone took off and I took off with them, but for some reason, I just couldn't keep my breath slow at first and I had to slow down.

I'm sure it was because I started out too fast because when I slowed down for a second to get my breathing back in check, I felt the power come back into my legs and I started to catch the pack, but it's ~0.6miles and you can't really catch anyone after all that. I'm REALLY annoyed at myself...but huge props to Becky for running 6:19 pace! And uh.... completing our other goal. :) :)
