Treadmill Intervals

Found another interval workout on FitSugar to do on the treadmill--a godsend this weekend since that's all I have available to me. I have a five mile run scheduled for tomorrow, but I'm not sure I'll be able to hang tough on the dreadmill for that long. My thoughts are to break it up into two 2.5 mile runs or do fifty minutes of running in the pool. Thoughts?


I'd take the TM over the pool, personally. Find something great to watch! I like what I think of as a Glee interval workout...cruise along and then crank it up during all songs to max pace.

I ended up watching the olympic track and field trials for the first part of my run, but once field hockey came on it was harder to stay distracted!
