Neighborhood 1/2 mile repeat route

Speed workout: warmup, 6x800 repeats with 3 minute rests, cooldown. Aimed for 3:40 on the splits, got it once (the third repeat I think. Glad it wasn't the first!); slowest time was 4:00. Learned that the 1/2 mile strip (on which I went back and forth) was on a slight hill, which made half of them a bit more challenging than the other half. Temp was not ideal (maybe 73?) but was better than a few days ago. I'll take it! Addendum: they oiled the streets this week, so I was running on gravel. As if I needed more challenge...
