Wow. Aimed to do trainer Dave's recommended workout of warmup, 4x1mile @ 8:15, cooldown. Despite crazy thirst (I forgot to bring a bottle or drink more than a swig before I started at 6:30am), I managed to do them faster, rather than slower than desired. I wasn't that far off, though I'd liked to have done negative splits. Fear of 90 degree temps this weekend made this happen! My miles went: 7:43, 8:06, 8:04, 8:08. Glad it was cool, this morning. For cooldown I elected to speed-walk up Ohio. HR was plenty high, just doing that. BAM!

Way to go, Arah! Every mile was sub-8:15, and way under too!! I heard that with 90 degree temps and high humidity the heat index will be well into the 100s. UGH! :)

Thanks! And, yikes, about the heat index. I have a long run to do on Sunday, 10-12 miles. Maybe I'll start it at 4am?

I know the Ohio Street Hill all too well; I've never thought of doing it as a cool-down!
